Internet Defends Kiara Advani & Sidharth Malhotra
A post on Reddit recently claimed that Sidharth Malhotra had restricted comments on his Instagram profile following the wave of trolling directed at him and Kiara Advani. However, a look at the actor’s account shows that the comment section on his posts remains accessible.
“He has always come across as someone really secure, who understands what his wife does is her work and has always praised her for setting aside her professional life and fame power away from their personal lives. In his last appearance in KWK, even Karan introduced Kiara with a reference to her scene in Lust Stories and Varun had to say something like “she’s married now, cmon”. Sid replied to this saying that he wasn’t offended. The episode is on YouTube. You can see this part on 15:29” wrote an user.
The post added, “So for a very secure and a laid back guy like this, for him to make a decision like this, it must have been really bad. Even earlier when I posted the post on his bday wish for Kiara, I saw the typical rocky bhaai comments it was disgusting and annoying. Whats sad is its only Kiara who’s getting shamed. Why should it always be like that? If they are making Kiara look bad just because she is married and have a kid, shouldn’t the same be applied to Yash too, who is also married and has kids?? Or is it that logic doesn’t apply when it comes to shaming a woman?”
