Food chain Meghna Foods, famous for Biryani, was recently criticized by people on social media. A poster of one of its outlets in Bengaluru went viral which was put up near the lift. The restaurant presented clarification
When this post of Meghna Restaurant went viral on social media, people criticized this rule of the restaurant. The restaurant said in its clarification that the purpose of our rule was to provide convenience to the customers in crowded lifts. However, we believe that this was not fair on delivery agents and should never have been imposed. Delivery partners work hard. They always deserve respect, dignity and care. The restaurant informed that it has now removed the post and apologizes for its mistake.

Social media showed affinity for agents
