A viral video claims President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Dera Beas in Punjab on 27-28 September, which is completely fake. The PIB Fact Czech has described this news as false. No such visit has been announced by Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Fact check: There is a lot of fake posts and videos on social media. Many times people consider them to be true and come and do their big losses. These days a fake video of President Draupadi Murmu is being played on a YouTube channel on social media. It states that the President is going to Dera Beas in Punjab on a two -day tour in late September. This video has turned out to be completely fake in PIB’s fact check.

What is being claimed in viral video?

Uploaded on a YouTube channel named Dainik Savera, this video claims that President Draupadi Murmu will visit the Dera Beas in Punjab for two days on 27 and 28 September. During this time she will meet Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon. Jasdeep Singh Gill will also be with Baba on this occasion. Similarly, fake short video is being run on another YouTube channel named Vande Bharat 24 News for the President’s visit.

What is the truth of viral video?

PIB’s fact check team termed the claim as completely false and said- No such visit to the President has been announced by Rashtrapati Bhavan. This claim is completely #Fake. Do not trust such videos at all. Citizens are advised to believe in official sources only for correct information.
