The much-anticipated adaptation of Ramayan was panned critically and failed at the box office as well. Now, three years later, there were reports of Prabhas reuniting with his Adipurush director, Om Raut. However, the development is not true. Zoom confirmed through reliable sources that the second collaboration between Prabhas and Om will not happen. The actor is currently busy with multiple films that are scheduled to be released between 2026 and 2028.

Why did Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan’s Adipurush fail?

Adipurush’s release date was postponed as the makers revised the VFX. Despite the corrections, the audience had turned critical about the storytelling. Workwise, Prabhas’ Fauzi releases on December 3. His next will be Kalki 2898 AD’s sequel and Salaar 2. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit with Triptii Dimri arrives on March 5, 2027. In the thriller, Prabhas will reportedly portray a serious and dedicated police officer on a mission to take down a powerful international crime syndicate and restore his honour. His character will also be shown as a devoted family man with a wife and child. Spirit also stars Vivek Oberoi.
Om Raut’s upcoming films
Om’s upcoming films are , the biopic of former president and Indian aerospace scientist APJ Abdul Kalam. The Dhanush-starrer will tell the story of Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, whose life was a blend of rocket science and irrepressible spirit. He was fondly called the ‘Missile Man Of India’. It will focus on Dr Kalam’s journey from Rameswaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
