Face will shine, hair will not fall…recipe of magical laddu, chef told

Grandmothers used to prepare many things to supply nutrients to the body and laddus remind us of childhood as they are delicious as well as rich in nutrients. Chef Aruna Vijay has given the recipe of such laddus, the consumption of which will not only supply vitamins and minerals to your body, but it is also helpful in curing many problems like PCOD, hair fall, dull skin. The main ingredients of these laddus are different types of seeds which are rich in good fats, amino acids as well as many antioxidants. He has not used sugar in any way in these laddus.

Laddus are also beneficial because ingredients are used together, which provides many nutrients simultaneously. Black sesame has been used in this laddu which is an excellent source of calcium. Apart from this, flax seeds are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, fiber and lignans. So let’s see the recipe of magical laddu.

Note the ingredients of laddu

You will need desi ghee 1 tbsp, black sesame seeds ½ cup, flaxseed ¼ cup, walnuts ½ cup, pumpkin seeds ⅓ cup, dates 10-12 (seeds removed). Now know what is the recipe.

Sesame laddu recipe

  • First of all, heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan on low flame. Add black sesame, flaxseed, walnuts and pumpkin seeds in it.
  • Roast all the seeds on low flame for 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously, until fragrant (do not brown too much).
  • When sesame seeds, flax seeds, walnuts and pumpkin seeds are roasted, turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down a bit.

Healthy Laddu

  • Now add deseeded dates to all the roasted ingredients and put all the ingredients in a grinder and grind them coarsely.
  • This slightly sticky mixture will be ready. Make laddus by taking small portions and keep them in a plate.
  • Leave all the laddus open like this for 10-15 minutes. This will set them well.
  • Keep all the laddus in an airtight container. These laddus will not spoil for about 10 days at room temperature.

Note these tips

If you feel that the mixture is dry, then grind 1-2 soft dates and mix them in it or add 1 teaspoon of hot ghee in it and tie the laddu. You can eat 1 laddu daily. These laddus will not only give strength to your body, but are also helpful in providing relief from many health problems like hair fall, weakness, PCOD.
