New Delhi: The 103rd edition of the FA Community Shield will once again see the reigning Premier League champions taking on the winners of the FA Cup. The 2024-25 Emirates FA Cup winners, Crystal Palace, and 2024-25 Premier League champions Liverpool will face off at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, August 10.
The match will mark Palace’s first appearance in the FA Community Shield, while Liverpool will look to win their 17th Community Shield in their 25th showing. The Reds last won it in 2022, after defeating Manchester City 3-1.
Liverpool have a better head-to-head record against the Eagles, winning 12 matches out of their last 16. The match between these two clubs will serve as a proper curtain-raiser for the upcoming Premier League season.
