India-Russia Bilateral Talks: Indian Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov will discuss bilateral and international cooperation in Moscow on 21 August.
S. jaishankar russia visit: India’s relations are getting stronger with foreign countries. Amidst all this, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is going to visit Russia from 201 to 21 August. He is going to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov. The meeting is taking place when there is going to be a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump on August 15 to stop the war in Ukraine.

Sayashankar-Sargei Lavarov will be special
The Russian Foreign Ministry spoke about the meeting of S Jaishankar and Sergei Lavarov in a post on X. The post said, “On August 21, External Affairs Minister Sergei will hold talks with India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar in Moscow. The minister will discuss major aspects of cooperation within the international structure along with major issues of bilateral agenda.” These were first met by Indian and Russia Foreign Ministers at BRICS Aimit in Brazil. It was posted by the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar himself. He had said that issues like bilateral cooperation, West Asia, BRICS and SCO were discussed between the two countries.

The two leaders had earlier met in Johannesburg in February this year, where they had openly discussed the development associated with the ongoing bilateral cooperation between India and Russia. Leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa as well as new members Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia came together at the BRICS summit organized by Brazil. Not only this, on August 8, he also met Russia’s First Deputy Minister Dennis Manturov.
