According to sources, the expressway will enter Bijnor near Balawali and will come out of the district via Sayohara. During this time, bridges, overbridges and flyovers will be built, its details will be added to the DPR. Currently more than two element options are being considered so that the most appropriate route can be set in view of traffic pressure, population and industry.
Old proposal of Chandpur bypass
Earlier, there was talk of the expressway out of the Chandpur bypass. The then District Magistrate Ankit Aggarwal had suggested that Chandpur area should be developed as an industrial hub so that the expressway can provide direct benefits to the local industry and employment. Now the new proposal focuses from Balawali to Siohara-Jaspur route.
Villagers will get access to big cities
After the construction of the expressway, the distance from Bijnor to big cities like Gorakhpur, Shamli and Panipat will be reduced considerably. Along with fast and smooth journey, agricultural products will get new markets and business new flights. However, due to passing through 131 villages, the challenges of land acquisition and rehabilitation will also come up.
Farmers’ opinion will also be included
NHAI officials said that the election survey is being done with full care. After the DPR is ready, the government will be handed over to the government and the process of land acquisition will begin. During this time, the opinion of farmers and villagers will also be given importance so that there is a balance of development and interests.
Experts believe that this expressway may change the appearance of Bijnor. This will not only give high speed connectivity but will also open new avenues of industry and employment. This project connecting rural areas with big cities can prove to be a new chapter of development for Bijnor.
