Tanvi Shewale , currently winning hearts as Roshni in Udne Ki Aasha , opens up about what keeps her grounded as an actor — her team, her family, and her audience. “My co-actors aren’t my competition. They’re my support system,” she says, speaking with honesty and warmth.
Having worked in the fast-paced world of daily soaps , Tanvi knows how challenging and rewarding TV can be. “You become a part of people’s daily lives. That’s something very special. I still remember the actors I watched growing up — they were part of my world,” she shares.
Tanvi’s character Roshni comes with emotional depth and complexity — something that has resonated with audiences, even if not always positively. “There are times when people send harsh comments online because of their character. But I’ve learned not to take it personally. I know it’s part of the job,” she says.
Off-screen, Tanvi shares a strong connection with her cast. “We improvise a lot, especially in comedy scenes. Sometimes someone cracks an unexpected line, and it’s hard not to laugh — but we manage! That energy helps us all perform better,” she laughs.
