Actress Song Da Eun has once again drawn the ire of ARMY after uploading a video featuring BTS’ Jimin. While many fans have repeatedly said they do not mind if their idol dates, what they do take issue with is the invasion of privacy – especially since Jimin has never spoken publicly about his personal relationships.
The newly shared clip, posted on Song’s TikTok, shows her already inside an apartment elevator when the doors open to reveal a surprised Jimin. She startles him, prompting the singer to laugh and say: “Oh, you scared me! Did you know I was coming in? I didn’t tell you on purpose.”

The scene is believed to have been filmed at Nine One Hannam, a luxury residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul, where Jimin currently resides.
Rumors that won’t die
This upload has brought back the long-circulating rumours surrounding Jimin and Song Da Eun. Since 2022, the pair have been linked multiple times, though neither Jimin nor his agency have addressed the speculation. Song, however, has spoken on the matter on more than one occasion – sometimes denying the connection, other times chastising fans.

Back in October 2023, she told followers to stop harassing her. And during a live broadcast earlier this year, she broke down emotionally, saying: “Just because the idol you like loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be attacked. I didn’t make the first move. So stop blaming me, okay? You don’t know what I might do if I really get mad. You talk about lawsuits all the time – maybe you will be the ones getting sued, got it?”

Adding fuel to the fire, ARMY on X (formerly known as Twitter) speak about if Song and Jimin really did date or was she just a neighbour turned into a stalker. The timing of this new video surfacing has left many fans questioning her intentions.
Some argue that sharing such content years later is unnecessary and provocative, while others believe it’s a deliberate attempt to revive a dead controversy.
