Gonda Bolero Accident: A Bullero train fell into a canal in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, killing 11 people. Heavy rains and uncontrolled vehicles are being described as the reason behind the accident. The administration is present on the spot.
Gonda bolero canal accident: A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. A Bolero vehicle in Itiathok police station area was carrying 15 people out to visit the temple, but on the way the vehicle went uncontrolled and fell into the canal. So far, 11 people have been confirmed in this painful accident. The accident happened so suddenly that no one got a chance to recover.
How did the accident happen?
A young woman riding in the Bolero, who somehow survived in the accident, made a terrible statement of the incident. Fear was clearly visible in his eyes. He told, “We were all going to the temple. Suddenly the car overturned and we did not understand anything. Everything happened very quickly.” According to eyewitnesses, the road was slippery due to heavy rains. The Bolero’s speed was fast and perhaps the driver lost control. The car fell directly into the canal.

Why people could not survive?
At the time of the accident, the Bolero reversed in the canal and the water went inside. The survivors said that an attempt was made to open the door, but it was jammed. Many drowning people hit their hands and feet for help, but the flow of water was so fast that no one could come out. The local people started the relief work after hearing the noise and the administration also reached the spot immediately. The injured were sent to the hospital and a search operation was conducted for the rest.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief, announced compensation
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep condolences on this horrific accident. Posting on social media, he wrote that this incident is extremely sad and heartbreaking. The Chief Minister has announced financial assistance of ₹ 5 lakh to the families of the deceased. At the same time, the officers have been instructed to ensure proper treatment of the injured.
