A Monday where you get to leave the office at 3 PM sounds like a dream, correct? A dream that might not be a possibility in the corporate world- after all, if people were THAT lucky, they wouldn’t be ‘corporate majdoors’, correct?
Well, guess what? Apparently, this Delhi office and its employees ended up being lucky enough that they got to leave the office at 3 PM on a Monday, all because of an intern and her random contribution to the office’s ‘topical calendar’. Taking to LinkedIn, a Delhi woman shared how the said intern randomly added ‘Leave the Office Early Day’ while making the ‘topical calendar’, a post on which got approved and went live. At first, actually executing the ‘day’ began as a joke, however, it soon turned into something that felt like a typical corporate dream.
As per the social media post, the woman was quick in pitching the ‘day’ to the founder- who ultimately approved it- resulting in the ‘entire office leaving at 3 PM on a Monday’. Talk about dreams coming true!
The post went viral in an instant, as most netizens loved the idea and expressed their wish to pitch the same at their offices as well. Many also appreciated the intern who brought the ‘much-needed change’.
