I am thrilled to hand over the Mannat torch to the new cast on a very good note.
As she bids farewell to her beloved character Mannat, Ayesha opens up about her transformative journey, the joy of a timely conclusion, and her hopes for the incoming cast.
On the 2-Year journey and the show’s natural arc, she says, “It has been a beautiful journey over the past 2 years with such a brilliant cast and crew to work with. It’s been a blessing and a learning experience. I am so happy that it did well and received all the love from the audience. Of course, it pains me a little to part ways with this wonderful cast and crew, but at the same time, I understand that every story needs to be told only up to the point where it remains entertaining. I’m happy it’s not being dragged and is reaching its logical conclusion. I respect the decisions made by the makers.”
On passing the baton to the new cast, Ayesha says, “I am thrilled to hand over the Mannat torch to the new cast on a very good note. The show has a certain kind of fanbase, and I truly hope it serves them well. The curiosity of fans about what’s new will hopefully work in the show’s favour. With a pinch of salt, there is a sweet hope for the future.”
