Jason Sanjay is gearing up for the release of his directorial debut Sigma, and veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has extended his wishes to the young filmmaker.
Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, appeared on Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 alongside lead actor Sundeep Kishan, where Nagarjuna interacted with the duo. During their conversation, the veteran actor spoke about Vijay’s popularity among Telugu audiences. This also received a reaction from Jason Sanjay. His appearance on the show comes just after Chiranjeevi attended the promotional event and wished the team for the film’s success.

recently made an appearance on Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 with lead actor Sundeep Kishan. During the weekend episode, host spoke to the duo about their upcoming film and also brought up Jason’s father, Vijay.
Nagarjuna mentioned the reception Vijay’s films have received in the Telugu-speaking states. “Our Telugu audience is very open. Every film of your dad collected huge in Telugu states. And they love Thalapathy Vijay garu here. Hope the same love will be given to you and your film Sigma,” Nagarjuna said.
Jason smiled and responded to the veteran actor’s wishes, saying, “Thank you so much, sir. It means a lot coming from you.”
Chiranjeevi Compares Jason Sanjay To Thalapathy Vijay
A few days ago, Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the Telugu promotional event for Sigma, where he spoke about Vijay’s legacy and shared his thoughts on Jason Sanjay’s journey into filmmaking. The veteran actor also compared Jason’s appearance with that of his father during his younger days.
Chiranjeevi shared his association with Vijay and revealed that he had attended the opening ceremony of one of the actor’s films. He also spoke about his interaction with Jason when the latter invited him to the event.
Chiranjeevi said, “Looking at Sanjay, I feel he looks similar to how his father (CM Vijay), looked in the 94-95′ period. I also attended the opening ceremony of a Vijay’s film once. So, when Jason Sanjay became a director and wanted to invite me, I felt very happy. I asked him why he chose to be a director and not an actor. He told me he is interested in writing and direction. He imbibed those qualities from his grandfather.”
Sigma also stars Faria Abdullah, Sampath Raj, Raju Sundaram and Shiv Panditt also appearing in key roles. Lyca Productions is backing the project, while Thaman S has composed its music. The film is slated to reach theatres on October 2, 2026.
