Under the developed UP @2047, CM Yogi Adityanath has resolved to give a new identity to Uttar Pradesh in the field of energy and environment. By 2030, the target of making all major cities to solar city, 15% Vakhanadhan and 50% renewable energy has been set.
CM Yogi Adityanath has drawn such a blueprint in the midst of the growing speed of vehicles, skyrocketing buildings and industries running on the streets of Uttar Pradesh, which will change the picture of the state in the coming times. Yogi’s biggest dream under the ‘developed UP @2047’ vision is that all major cities of UP develop as ‘Solar City’ in the next 22 years and the states move towards zero carbon emissions.
Public movement became renewable energy and plantation
Prior to 2017, UP’s energy production was mostly thermal based and lacked solid schemes of environmental protection. But the Yogi government took a big step towards promoting renewable energy and making plantation a mass movement. The ‘Solar City’ scheme started from Ayodhya will now reach all the big cities of the state.
