People of India have started boycotting American products against American tariffs

After this tariff decision of America, the wave of supporting Made in India in India has intensified. Traders and common people are talking about giving priority to the country’s products by boycotting both foreign brands. The support of Made in India is increasing from social media to roads.

India is a big and important market for American companies. The growing middle class and rich consumers here have been crazy about international brands for a long time. Names like McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Amazon, Apple are part of common life in India. The biggest user base of WhatsApp is also in India, while the most restaurants of Domino are here. In such a situation, if the boycott of American brands in India is fast, then these companies can cause huge damage.

Businessmen came out in support of Made in India

Now the voice of traders has also been added to support of Made in India. Vao Skin Science co-founder Manish Chaudhary encouraged farmers and startups in a video message that now the time has come to make Made in India famous all over the world. Giving examples, he said that just as the food and beauty products of South Korea made their names in the world, similarly Indian brands should also make their special identity.

Rahm Shastri, CEO of Driveu, wrote on social media that India should also create its own social media and take platforms like China, so that our dependence on foreign services like Twitter, Google, YouTube and WhatsApp can be reduced.

PM Modi’s emphasis on self -reliance

During an event in Bengaluru on the previous day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said without naming any company that Indian tech companies make products for the world, but now the time has come to keep the needs of the country at the top. His statement further strengthens the message of self -sufficient India in the current environment.

Meanwhile, the BJP-linked organization Swadeshi Jagran Manch held small demonstrations across the country on Sunday and appealed to people to boycott American brands. The organization’s co-convenor Ashwini Mahajan said, people are now turning to Indian products. It will take time, but it is a call for patriotism and patriotism.
