Satish Shah, who was seen in ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, died on 25 October. He was 74 years old. Suddenly his health deteriorated, after which he was taken to Hinduja Hospital where he breathed his last. Now after Satish’s departure, a video of him is going viral on social media, which has shocked people.

Satish Shah says in the video, ‘Even if you send me to heaven, after four days I will remember my Mumbai and want to go back. I like Mumbai so much. There are those mountains in Switzerland also, yes lovely lovely, but I can’t live without Mumbai for more than 4-5 days. Now fans have become very emotional after watching this video. People say that God should send them back. While some say that God should give them their next birth in Mumbai only.

Who was Satish Shah?

Satish Shah was born in the year 1951 in a Gujarati family. He started his acting journey in the 1970s, but he got real recognition in 1984 from Kundan Shah and Manjul Sinha’s popular TV show ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’. In this show, Satish Shah played 55 different characters and won the hearts of the audience with his brilliant acting. In the 1990s, he did brilliant work in TV shows like ‘Filmi Chakkar’ and ‘Ghar Jamai’. After this, he once again took his career to new heights by playing the entertaining role of Indravadan Sarabhai in the hit show ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ which aired between 2004 and 2006.

Apart from this, he appeared in supporting roles in many hit films, which include ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Hero No. 1’, ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Fanaa’ and other films. He was last seen on the big screen in the 2014 release ‘Humshakals’.
