Esports Awards 2025: IShowSpeed wins big as S8UL named best Esports content group for fourth year

New Delhi: The Esports Awards 2025 took place on 19 November in Las Vegas, marking the 10th year of the event. The show was held at the HyperX Arena and focused on recognising people and groups who have made an impact in gaming, streaming, and esports. This year’s ceremony featured 24 award categories, and for the first time.

The organisers also introduced the Lifetime Achievement in Esports: Class of 2025, adding a new way to honour long-term contributors. In the game awards section, League of Legends was named Esports Game of the Year, while PUBG Mobile earned the award for Esports Mobile Game of the Year.

One of the biggest wins of the night came from American streamer Darren Watkins, better known as IShowSpeed. He won the Streamer of the Year award, beating other well-known creators like Kai Cenat and Ibai Llanos. This is his first time winning the title, as he had lost last year to Mexican streamer Samanta “Rivers” Rivera Trevino.
