What is written in the FBI report that increased the controversy?
An FBI Intake Report dated October 27, 2020 documents a tip from a former limousine driver. The driver claimed to have overheard a phone conversation between Trump and Epstein in 1995. An unidentified woman present during the incident reportedly said, “He raped me.” According to the driver, the woman later revealed that she had contacted the police and then committed suicide in January 2000.
Why did the DOJ dismiss these allegations outright?
The DOJ said in a statement released on The department clearly said, “These claims are baseless and false. If there was even an iota of truth in them, they would have already been used against President Trump.” The DOJ also clarified that just because a document is on file, does not make it true.
