Enola Holmes 3 Star Millie Bobby Brown Wants To Do Bollywood Comedy, Says India Is On Her Bucket List

After ending Stranger Things last year, actress Millie Bobby is open to new experiences, even joining Bollywood. Since breaking through on the Netflix series at age 11, Millie has not only become a huge Hollywood star but is also a producer and entrepreneur. The actress, who returns as the title character in Enola Holmes 3, recently shared that visiting India is on her bucket list. Millie’s co-star on Enola Holmes 3, actor Louis Partridge, also shared that he would like to tag along with his friend and joked if any role for him would be possible.

In an interview with Variety India, Millie shared that she would not say no to a Bollywood film and revealed that India is on her bucket list. The actress was told that she should be ready to dance for the role and she joked that she loved to dance. Millie added, “I’m down for anything, really. A comedy… I’m a funny girl.”

Louis, who was part of the interview, also chimed in to say that he would love to come to India too. Millie warned that he wasn’t a great dancer, although the actor joked that he could be put “on a hot ground” to get in on the action.

What is Enola Holmes 3 about?

The  is directed by Philip Barantini and written by Jack Thorne, both of whom worked on the Emmy-winning Netflix series AdolescenceEnola Holmes 3 takes place in Malta, where the young detective is about to walk down the aisle and tie the knot with Lord Tewkesbury (Louis). However, before she can reach the church, Enola is intercepted by Dr. John Watson (Himesh Patel), who informs her that her older brother, Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill), is missing. Helena Bonham Carter will be back as their mother Eudoria Holmes and Sharon Duncan-Brewster returns as Moriarty for the sequel releasing on Netflix on July 1, 2026.

 

Millie Bobby Brown’s upcoming projects

Besides Enola Holmes 3, on which she is an executive producer with her husband Jake Bongiovi,  is also starring in the Netflix rom-com Just Picture It with Gabriel LaBelle. They play college students whose phones glitch and show them pictures from 10 years in the future as a happily married couple with children.

The actress has two more projects in pre-production, also likely to premiere on Netflix. In the supernatural TV series Prism, Millie is set to star and executive produce the show in which her character Cassie can talk to ghosts. For the feature film Nineteen Steps, directed by Oscar-winner Tom Hooper, Millie will play a young girl living in London during World War II during the Blitz.
