On Monday, the anger of private companies finally burst in Noida. He was peacefully protesting for his demands for two days. But when the water passed above his head he became violent. Not only this, they have created a ruckus in the entire Noida. The pictures of violence that are emerging now are scary. The situation became so out of control that they even burnt police vehicles. During this period, the employees have made many revelations about their companies, due to which they have taken to the streets.
10-12 hours work, salary only 10 thousand
- While talking to the media, an employee who came out on the road in the scorching heat said that he was protesting helplessly. He told that even with such inflation, he gets a salary of Rs 9 to 11 thousand per month. When it comes to increasing the salary, the company gives an increment of only Rs 300. After this she puts pressure on him to work more hours.
- While talking to a media channel, a female employee said that they are made to work for 10 to 12 hours. Instead of which the salary is only Rs 15 thousand. When it comes to increasing the salary in a year, senior officers show favor by increasing it by Rs 400.
- An employee working in a factory in Noida said that the company tells something else on the papers and gives a different salary. Records show that we get a monthly salary of Rs 25 thousand. But actually the reality is completely different from this. Because we are given a monthly salary of only Rs 12 to 15 thousand. If there is a lot of protest then the companies increase it marginally.
Companies are exploiting in Noida, read the inside truth
- An employee said that these companies are exploiting us. These people give us half the salary that the government has made for us. If anyone protests, he is threatened with dismissal from his job. In such a situation, people bear everything silently because of the need to raise their families.
- Another employee told that we are made to work more hours than the duty. But in return they are not given proper overtime pay. They get work done from morning till night and there is neither medical insurance nor any claim given in case of illness.
- While expressing her grief, a female employee said that there are no security arrangements inside the companies. If you take leave when needed, these people also deduct the leave money. You get a little money, but if you have a holiday in a month, that too gets deducted.
Noida District Collector took decisions in the interest of employees
Meanwhile, Noda District DM Megha Rupam said that decisions have been taken in the interest of the employees after holding a meeting with the companies. An important meeting was held at Noida Authority with the aim of maintaining industrial peace, in which Principal Secretary (Labour) and Labor Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh participated through virtual medium and discussed various matters including protecting the interests of workers, double payment for overtime, bonus, weekly leave and workplace safety. Government guidelines should be compulsorily posted on the notice boards in all units. Instructions were also given to keep CCTV cameras operational at the main gates of factories and to pay special attention to the welfare of workers.
