Focused Budget 2026 Naukri YA Rozgaar: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made many big announcements for every sector in the General Budget 2026. Actually, the main focus of this time’s budget was on making a developed India. The question is what was special for the working people in this budget.

No new exemption in income tax

1. No new exemption in income tax has been given in the budget. That means no changes have been made in any kind of slab.

2. The new income tax will be applicable from April 1, 2026. For which you can easily get the form and fill it.

3. Gave more time of 3 months to file wise return. Now you can file revised returns till 31st March instead of 31st December.

Earnings earned outside the country are now tax-free

4. Tax on employee hiring service has now been increased from 1% to 2%.

5. Earnings taken out of the country by foreigners who have stayed in India for 5 years have now been made tax-free.

6. NRIs will get income tax relief for 5 years if they invest their money earned abroad in India.

7. The Government of India launched the One Time Six Month Foreign Assets Disclosure Scheme in the budget for declaring earnings abroad.

PAN will be required instead of TAN when selling immovable property.

7. Now you will have to fill PAN based challan instead of TAN for TDS on sale of immovable property. An announcement regarding this has been made in the budget.

8. It has been announced in the budget that now less tax collection at source (TCS) will be charged on sending money abroad for education and treatment.

9.  The Finance Minister has reduced the TCS rate on foreign tour packages to 2%.

Mobiles, EV scooters, EV cars become cheaper

10. There is also good news for the working people that mobiles, EV scooters, EV cars and solar related items have been made cheaper in the budget.

11. Motor accident claim amount has been exempted from income tax.
