On social media, Netflix dropped a video of the show’s renewal with some exciting but sad news. Yes, this will be the last season of the show. But fans will not have to wait long for it, as the four-part final season has already been filmed. is already busy filming Wednesday Season 3 and has a voice role in The Angry Birds Movie 3.
Writer and executive producer Holly Jackson shared that the third season will adapt the third book in the series called As Good as Dead, which is her favourite. She told Tudum that fans would see a new side to Pip. “It’s dark, breathless, horrible, and somehow still manages to be funny,” she said.
Myers, who becomes an executive producer on the last season, thanked fans for all the love and support for the show. She added, “Pip will be a character I will never forget. Book 3 is my favorite of all the books, so I’m very excited to show everyone what we’ve done.”

The new season is produced by Sophie Klein and Sophie MacClancy and directed by Tom Vaughan. In the final four episodes, Pip deals with the lasting impact of her first two investigations in Little Kilton and discovers a whole new mystery to unravel in her quaint hometown.
