Embellished with gold, Gayle among other West Indies players to wear most expensive jersey in cricket history

New Delhi: Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo will wear the most expensive jersey in cricketing history at the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025. The West Indies Champions are ready to roar in the much-awaited WCL which will bring together legendary cricketers not only from West Indies but around the world.

The jersey, which is embellished with real gold, has been designed by Dubai-based luxury brand Lorenze in partnership with Channel2 Group corporation. It has been designed exclusively for the West Indies Champions and is decorated with real 18K gold, available in 30g, 20g and 10g editions. The iconic jersey has been designed to pay a tribute to the heritage and spirit of great West Indian players from Sir Clive Lloyd to Gayle including the modern generation.

WCL to feature cricket legends

The tournament is scheduled from July 18 to August 2 across Birmingham, Northampton, Leicester, and Leeds after receiving sanction from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). It will feature a star-studded line up including Gayle, Bravo, Pollard, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Brett Lee, Chris Lynn, Shaun Marsh, Eoin Morgan, Moeen Ali, Sir Alastair Cook, AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Chris Morris, Wayne Parnell, and more.
