has got relief from the Supreme Court of India after the judge dismissed the FIR filed against him in the snake venom case.
For the unversed, an FIR was filed by the UP police in 2023 under the Wildlife Protection Act. The bench stated that the case cannot proceed because the complaint was not filed by an authorised person. The court further mentioned that the NDPS Act does not apply because the liquid substance found was not a scheduled drug. Now, Elvish has shared a video statement on social media in which he mentioned that he is celebrating Independence Day in the true sense today.
Elvish Yadav Reacts To SC Verdict On Snake Venom Case
Elvish Yadav shared a video of himself speaking about the verdict by the Supreme Court on X. The actor started a video with a Gudi Padwa wish to all his fans. He mentioned that has dismissed the snake venom case against him.
The Roadies Double Cross gang leader stated he always believed in the judiciary system of India. He thanked SC for quashing an FIR filed against him. He recalled how he got arrested on March 17, 2024, and since then, the news about his alleged involvement in the snake venom case has been covered by several news portals.
During that phase, his family members were troubled a lot. Now, after getting relief in the case, Elvish Yadav has raised one question: Who will compensate for the pain and trauma that my family suffered in the last 2.5 years?
Elvish Yadav said that it is indeed a big day for him and that he is very happy. He thanked his fans aka army, family members and close friends for always supporting him during the difficult phase of his life. Since he is free of all the charges, Elvish decided to celebrate the moment by calling it an ‘Independence Day’.
