You must have heard the name of Elon Musk. He is the owner of Ax and has now become the richest person in history. Along with the world, he has also created a record of becoming the richest person in the world. His wealth has become more than the GDP of Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
According to Forbes, Musk has now become the richest person in history. This increase in Musk’s wealth is due to the merger of his rocket manufacturing company SpaceX and artificial intelligence startup xAI. The total wealth of the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, has exceeded 850 billion dollars i.e. about Rs 77 lakh crore. In just one day, his net worth increased by 84 billion dollars i.e. approximately Rs 7 lakh crore.
Musk’s total wealth is more than the entire GDP of countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. According to Forbes Billionaires Index, Musk’s current net worth is said to be $852 billion. This is more than the total wealth of the top 40 richest people of India.
Musk made big records
In October 2025, he became the world’s first person with a wealth of 500 billion dollars. This happened when he resigned from the Trump government’s Department of Defense (DOGE) to focus fully on Tesla. After this, on December 15, with the increase in the price of SpaceX, it crossed the $600 billion mark. Then on December 19, after the court reinstated Tesla’s stock options, he became the only member of the $700 billion club. After this, in January 2026, he also made the record of becoming the richest person in history.
Musk is far ahead of other rich people in the world
There is now a huge gap between Musk and the second richest person in the world. Google co-founder Larry Page is at second place with a net worth of $281 billion. Musk is $578 billion richer than him. Looking at the speed with which his wealth is increasing, he may soon become the world’s first trillionaire i.e. a person with assets worth $1,000 billion.
