Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s solar energy policy has given such a direction to the state where development and energy self-reliance are seen growing together. Solar energy capacity in UP crosses 1000 MW mark
The total solar energy capacity of the state has reached 1003.64 MW. Due to this achievement

All these aspects have made the energy position of the state more robust. The government aims to develop all major cities as solar cities by 2047.

50 thousand youth got employment
This solar policy of Yogi government has also created new employment opportunities. 50 thousand youth have got direct employment in fields like technicians, installers and service staff. Availability of work at the local level has reduced migration and strengthened the rural economy.

As solar plants expand, the burden of electricity consumption will reduce proportionately and industries will benefit.
