Eklavya Prasad’s Visual Kathã: Cycles of Survival to be exhibited in Patna

As part of प्रKritika 2026, Eklavya Prasad’s Visual Kathã: Cycles of Survival – Visuals Etched Deep in the Floodplains of North Bihar will be exhibited at Kamla Nehru Shishu Vihar High School, Patliputra Colony, Patna, from February 6-8, 2026, between 10:30 and 20:00 hours.

The photography exhibition presents an intimate and unflinching visual narrative of communities in North Bihar who live with the certainty of recurring floods. Through powerful images, the exhibition traces the many faces of flooding and its deep, enduring imprints on lives, livelihoods, and landscapes, alongside the unbroken and arduous human effort required to sustain existence, where rebuilding, adapting, and persisting year after year is not a choice, but a necessity.

This visual art work bridges grassroots realities and policy discourse, documenting survival, dignity, and community-driven responses in flood-prone regions.
