On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, television’s beloved on-screen sisters Nia Sharma and Krystle D’Souza delighted fans with a sweet dose of nostalgia. The duo, who rose to fame as Maanvi and Jeevika in the hit show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, celebrated the festival together in memory of their iconic bond.
Nia shared a series of pictures and videos on Instagram with the caption, “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai squad,” instantly taking fans down memory lane. Both were dressed in vibrant Patiala suits in shades of pink, perfectly capturing the festive spirit.
In some of the clips, the show’s director Siddharth P. Malhotra and his wife are also seen making an appearance, adding to the warmth of the reunion. Other photos and videos showed the actresses laughing, teasing each other, and goofing around much like their on-screen selves.
Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, which first aired in 2011, ran successfully for nearly two years and became a favourite among viewers for its portrayal of sisterhood. The series not only cemented Nia and Krystle’s places in the television industry but also earned them a loyal fanbase. The show recently completed 14 years since its debut, making this Rakhi all the more special for its fans.
