While Thamma continues to dominate the box office with over Rs 95 crore in India, Harshvardhan’s film has carved its own success story. Made on a modest budget of Rs 25 crore, it has more than doubled its production cost, cementing its status as a profitable venture. The film’s success comes as a pleasant surprise, considering its mixed critical reception and tough competition during the festive release window.
Expressing his gratitude to audiences, Harshvardhan Rane recently visited a theatre screening his film and shared an emotional message with fans. He said, “This Diwali, you supported the films of two outsiders. Ayushmann Khurrana’s film released along with mine. Watch both the films, please, and enjoy both. This sends a good message out, that aap logon ne akele poora ka poora Bollywood se nepotism hi khatm kar diya (you people alone have wiped out nepotism from Bollywood).”

He further added, “I hope you like it. And those of you in your family who haven’t watched it yet, please come again with them.” His words resonated with fans online, many of whom praised his humility and passion for cinema.
