Charming Star Sharwa’s period action drama Bhogi, directed by Sampath Nandi, is being mounted on a grand scale by producer K K Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner.
Following the encouraging response to the recently released teaser, the makers have now kick-started the film’s musical promotions with the launch of the first single, Egilivaranga.
Bheems Ceciroleo, known for his flair for rustic compositions, has come up with an earthy and engaging track backed by captivating orchestration.
Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose uses the authentic Telangana dialect to capture the unfiltered realities of village life, giving the song a strong sense of regional identity.
Nalgonda Gaddar Narsanna leads the vocal rendition with his spirited voice, while Narsireddy, Kandukuri Shankar Babu and Relare Gopal add further rustic flavour. Their collective performance strengthens the song’s connection to the folk traditions it celebrates.
The visuals further enhance the period setting, recreating the rural landscape and social atmosphere with convincing detail.
Sharwa and Anupama Parameswaran fit naturally into their rustic avatars, while the depiction of the village and its inhabitants lends authenticity to the overall presentation.
With Egilivaranga, Bhogi begins its musical journey on a promising note, blending folk energy, rooted storytelling and richly recreated period visuals.
