New Delhi: The co-founder and director of political consultancy firm I-PAC, Vinesh Chandel, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday, April 13. Chandel was an accused in a money-laundering case linked to an alleged coal scam in West Bengal.
Officials took Chandel into custody in Delhi under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). More interestingly, Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the West Bengal government have been receiving political consultancy from I-PAC since 2021.
