Reports of Australian players deteriorated were revealed that they had to face stomach infection due to eating hotel food. Due to which the food department has become active and samples of food have been taken from the hotel.
Talking about the media on this incident, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla said, ‘Landmark Hotel is the best hotel in Kanpur. If there was any deficiency in food, then all the players could fall ill, but it is not so. Australian players are being given good hotel food. All the players are eating the same food. Maybe 2-4 players have been infected from another place. At the same time, Hotel Management says that the health of the Australian players did not deteriorate due to food, but due to the change in weather, they may have trouble.
