New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale struck near the Andaman Sea at 12:06 pm IST on Sunday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The tremors originated at a depth of 90 km beneath the Earth’s crust. The epicenter recorded at latitude 12.49°N and longitude 93.83°E.
