Deepak Tijori recalls shooting an intense scene with Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Deepak opened up about his experience shooting a particularly intense scene with Shah Rukh. He shared, “This was the craziest thing I had done. Sometimes, Kundan Shah and we spent a whole day shooting this one scene because Kundan had this thing where he didn’t do just one shot or cuts. It was that scene where Shah Rukh is telling me that it’s good to come, but it’s not good for me, and I have to be convinced enough, like, you can say anything, but in the end, when I do get convinced, I still don’t want to do it.
Kundan gave so many takes that by the end of it, both of us were exhausted. He never settled for one shot. He’d say, ‘I won’t return it with the same will; somewhere you messed up. Have you become like this?’ The entire day went into that one scene. It was the craziest day we ever had.”
Deepak Tijori reflects on the low point of his career
In another exclusive interview with Zoom, Deepak Tijori reflected on a challenging phase in his career. “The low point was definitely after I finished my last film, which was Vaastav. I did it just as a friend. I realised then that I should stop because the track was heading in the wrong direction. People were assuming that I only needed to do a certain kind of role. That’s when I decided to take a step back.”
