JDU had given a crushing defeat to RJD in 2010

Dawood Ali got 42,538 votes, while Sunil Kumar got only 22,692 votes. This victory was considered to be the result of the popularity of Nitish government at that time.

JDU’s dominance continues even after five years

In the 2015 elections, JDU took the field along with the Grand Alliance. This time Dadan Yadav (JDU) defeated Ram Bihari Singh of RLSP by a big margin. CPI-ML stopped JDU’s victory chariot in 2020
