Do not knead the dough correctly
Many people do not knead rice flour properly, due to which the dough remains dry and the modak starts to break.
Slowly add lukewarm water, milk and ghee to the flour, so make it, smooth, soft dow. After kneading, cover it and leave it for 10–15 minutes.

Filtering of stuffing (filling)
