Due to strict monitoring of CM Yogi, the speed of settlement of revenue disputes has increased in UP. More than 3.24 lakh cases were disposed of in October. Lucknow remained on top, while at the district level, Jaunpur disposed of the maximum number of 480 cases.
Lucknow. The effect of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s strict monitoring towards speedy disposal of revenue cases in Uttar Pradesh is now clearly visible. CM Yogi is monitoring the progress by holding district-wise review meetings every month. On the initiative of Yogi government, the strategy for resolution of revenue disputes has been intensified in the state, due to which there has been a significant improvement in the speed of disposal of cases in the revenue courts.
RCCMS report: Maximum 15,260 cases disposed in capital Lucknow
According to the October report of the Revenue Court Computerized Management System (RCCMS), 3,24,897 revenue cases were disposed of across the state. The capital Lucknow has topped the list, where 15,260 cases were disposed of. After Lucknow, Prayagraj took the second position with 10,501 cases, while Gorakhpur took the third position with 8,165 cases disposed of. Kanpur city stood fourth with 7,866 cases disposed of and Shahjahanpur stood fifth with 7,707 cases disposed of. Lucknow District Magistrate Vishakha ji. Iyer said that under the clear instructions of the Chief Minister, revenue disputes are being resolved on priority basis, so that the public can get speedy justice.
Jaunpur wins again, tops among district courts
This time also Jaunpur has won in the district level courts. Jaunpur District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh said that as per the intention of the Chief Minister, the revenue cases here are being resolved rapidly. According to the RCCMS report, the five revenue courts of Jaunpur disposed of 480 cases, much more than the standard disposal of the Board of Revenue (250), which is an achievement of 192 per cent. Along with this, Jaunpur stood first in the district courts in the state.
Lakhimpur Kheri and Basti ranked second and third respectively
Against the standard of 300, Lakhimpur Kheri stood second with 334 cases disposed of, while Basti stood third with 310 cases. Jaunpur District Magistrate Court disposed of 71 cases against the norm of 30 cases, which is an achievement of 236.67 percent, which is the highest in the state. Bhadohi (63 cases) and Mau (51 cases) stood second and third respectively.
Jaunpur also on top in land revenue matters
Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue) Jaunpur has secured first position in the entire state by disposing of 184 cases against the prescribed standard of 50. Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue) of Ghazipur stood second by disposing of 36 cases and Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue) of Mirzapur stood third by disposing of 24 suits. This achievement shows that due to CM Yogi’s strict monitoring and use of digital systems, there has been a massive improvement in administrative efficiency.
