Mp obc reservation: The efforts of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav are seen to be successful in view of reservation for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes in Madhya Pradesh. The state government is determined about this reservation. In fact, Madhya Pradesh Public Service (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Amendment Act, 2019 – The state government had argued in the Supreme Court regarding the constitutional validity of OBC reservation. After listening to these arguments, the Supreme Court has agreed to the facts of the state government. As a result, the Supreme Court now agrees for the final hearing in this case.

The case is placed in the ‘Top of the Board’ category on 23 September 2025. That is, now till the final decision is going to be heard in the court daily. It is worth noting that, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, Additional Solicitor General K. Natraj and Advocate General Prashant Singh were told by the state government that the High Court should be heard soon in view of the seriousness of the problem faced by the High Court due to the stay on OBC reservation.

CM Dr. Yadav has already said this thing

Let me tell you, during the monsoon session of the assembly recently, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had said that the Congress is adopting a double character on the matter of 27% reservation within our own state. The Congress spoke with weak facts, without information. And now she lies on the basis of that matter. We are saying 27% reservation on Danke’s injury. We have already given reservation 27% earlier where there was no stay inside many of our departments. But, where the matter is stuck in the court, we are also giving 27% reservation in favor of the government on our behalf.
