The landlord, upset over non-payment of rent for a few months, had approached the court with a notice. He wanted to give notice and throw the tenant family out of the house. But on reaching home the landlord was shocked. This incident took place in Kalkaji Apartment in Delhi, where three people were found dead.
Tragic end of three family members
A 52-year-old woman and her two sons, aged 32 and 27, living in Kalkaji Apartment, died tragically. The entire family was in depression for the last few months. After the death of her husband the entire family was scattered. The sudden death of her husband in 2024 had brought the family on the road. It became difficult to repay the husband’s loan and both the sons also did not get jobs. When the children were preparing for the government job examination, their father’s death gave them a deep shock. Because of this, the family, which was somewhat in debt, was completely ruined. Therefore, all three went into depression. He was living in the house without paying rent for the last one year.
Rs 25,000 per month rent
It had been a year since I paid the monthly rent of Rs 25,000. There was no item including rice in the house. He had also borrowed money from shops. The landlord had asked several times to pay the rent. But this family did not have money to pay the rent. He did not even have the confidence to leave this house and live somewhere else. All three of them, who were suffering from depression, were not able to pay the rent and were living at home. After several warnings, the landlord finally approached the court.
The court had ordered to vacate the house immediately for non-payment of rent. The landlord, who reached the rented house with the local police regarding this court notice, was deeply shocked. The door of the house was closed. The door did not open even after knocking. When the landlord brought another key and opened the door, it was revealed that all three had died tragically. The bodies have been sent to AIIMS Hospital for post-mortem.
