Before the implementation of GST 2.0 from 22 September, Indian Railways has reduced the price of Rail Neer on the platform and during the train. Earlier, ₹ 15 had to be paid for 1 liter rail Neer bottle, now you have to pay ₹ 14. Along with this, for half a liter of rail Neer bottle, first ₹ 10 had to be paid, now you have to pay ₹ 9.

The official statement of the Ministry of Railways said that the maximum price of packaged drinking water bottle Rail Neer will be reduced from ₹ 15 to ₹ 14 and 500 mL from ₹ 10 to ₹ 9. The reduced prices will be implemented from September 22. The same new prices will be applicable on the packaged water bottles of other brands sold in railway premises and trains.

GST’s new rates will be implemented from 22

New GST rates are going to be implemented in the country from 22 September. Till now there were four 4 slabs in the current GST system, out of which the slabs of 12 and 28 percent have been abolished. Now only two slabs are 5% and 18% left. That is, GST has become very simple and easy than before. The cess has also been finished. Home essential items have been reduced to 5% or 0% on the tax on soap, toothpaste, bread. Tax on life -saving medicines was reduced from 12% to 0% or 5%, which will make the treatment cheaper.

Who makes Rail Neer

Recently, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is going to almost double the production capacity of its largest rail Neer plant. The plant is located in Ambarnath, Maharashtra in the western region and supplies packaged water to Mumbai local travelers as well as train passengers around Maharashtra and Gujarat. Currently, this plant makes about 1.74 lakh liters of packaged water daily.
