Bikaner News: A minor domestic dispute suddenly took a terrible form in Kamla Colony area of Bikaner city of Rajasthan. On seeing the quarrel between the husband and wife, it turned into a knife, in which the husband died on the spot, while the wife and her brother-in-law were seriously injured. The incident has caused sensation in the area. According to the information received from the police, the deceased has been identified as Sunny Panwar (42 years).
Neck cut and flowed like paan
Let me tell you that husband Sunny used to work as a delivery boy occasionally, but was unemployed for some time and there was frequent dispute in the family due to alcohol addiction. On Wednesday night too, his wife Mamta Panwar got into a fight over something. During the furore, Sunny lifted the vegetable cutting knife from the kitchen. Meanwhile, his brother Jeetu Panwar arrived for intervening. The quarrel between the three increased so much that the knife went into a scuffle and a serious attack on Sunny’s neck. He died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. At the same time, Mamta and Jeetu also suffered serious injuries who have been admitted to the Trauma Center of PBM Hospital.
What will Bikaner police do in the murder case now?
- According to ASP Saurabh Tiwari, the investigation of the incident is going on and it is not yet clear whose hand did the knife run. There is no CCTV installed in the house, due to which the exact order of the incident could not be ascertained. The police will record the statements of the injured Mamta and Jeetu today.
- The deceased Sunny and Mamta have two sons, who study in college. Both were not present at the house at the time of the incident. Family members say that they were mentally disturbed before the parents’ quarrels.
- At present, the police will take further action based on postmortem report, statements of injured parties and questioning of neighbors. This incident has once again attracted the attention of society towards serious consequences of domestic violence.
