India suffered a shameful defeat in the test series against South Africa. The team lost the test series 0-2. It has had a clean sweep in two out of the last three Test series. After the defeat, Gautam Gambhir took responsibility for this defeat and said that this is the defeat of the entire team. Indian coach Gautam Gambhir did not blame any single player after the crushing 408-run defeat to South Africa in the second Test but made it clear that he was extremely unhappy with the manner of Rishabh Pant’s dismissal. India was in a good position after scoring 95 runs for one wicket but after this the team lost wickets continuously and the score became 122 runs for seven wickets in which Marco Jansson’s bowling was important. Pant tried to play aggressively on Yanson when at that time he needed to show restraint and this shot is considered to be the worst.
