PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti launched a big attack on the central government amid violent protests in Leh. He said that the Ladakis are afraid that their land will be taken away and their culture will be changed. Mehbooba warned that it would have serious consequences if there was an attempt to make Ladakh a “open jail”. At the same time, he condemned the allegations leveled against Sonam Wangchuk and demanded the government to take action.
