Mantasha’s family members have seriously accused her husband of beating and strangling her. This incident has caused sensation throughout the region.
What is the whole matter?
Mantasha’s family members said that her daughter was married to her nephew two months ago. Since marriage, her husband was harassing her and assaulted her. He did not agree even after explaining several times. Mantasha’s father Irshad told that the day Mantasha died, on the same day, he again explained to him not to beat the daughter. However, in the afternoon, the husband called Mantasha and after some time he was allegedly strangled to death. Irshad further told that after the murder, the father of the accused came to his house and started asking about Mantasha. When he called the daughter, her number was coming off. When he went home, Mantasha was lying in a suspicious condition in the room, his tongue was out and he had died. After this, the family immediately informed the police.
Police action
As soon as the news of Mantasha’s death was received, there was a stir in her maternal home. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. Preliminary investigation is feared murder. According to the police, the accused husband is absconding since the incident was carried out. Thakurdwara Police Officer Rudra Kumar said that the police team had reached the spot after receiving the information on Dial 112. The family has accused the husband and his family of murder. The body of the newly married Mantasha has been sent for postmortem. A case has been registered on the basis of Tahrir and investigation has been started. Legal action will be taken based on the post mortem report and further investigation. The police have assured the family of fair investigation and justice.
