Apart from this, order has been issued to impose the highest 41 percent tariff on Syria so far.
In the new executive order, it was clarified by the Trump administration that the countries on which the tariff has been announced will be implemented within the next one week. This order of Trump has made many countries sleep.
These countries have the most tariffs
Trump has announced the highest 41 percent tariff on Syria. Apart from this, 40 percent has been imposed on Laos and Myanmar, 39 percent on Switzerland, 35 percent on Serbia and Iraq, 30 percent on South Africa, Algeria and Libya. The most tariffs have been imposed on these countries by the Trump administration. Apart from this, Canada on which 25 percent was applied earlier has also been increased to 35 percent.
Many countries imposed only 10 percent tariffs
This executive order of Trump has been prepared after the hard work of the last several days. The White House administration also held a meeting with many countries regarding this. In this new order, the tariff outline for 68 countries and 27 -member European Union has been prepared. In this order, 10 percent tariffs will be imposed on countries whose names are not included. However, the expert believes that after this order comes to the fore, now there will be a dispute with America.
Countries like Laos, Myanmar, Syria have the highest number of 40% or more tariffs. The Executive Order 14298 of May 2025 is applicable separately on China, there is no change. This tariff will be applicable from August 7. So far, America is imposing 10% baseline tariff on India. Now it has been increased to 25 percent.
Trump gave a big shock to Canada
Trump’s attitude has not been special from the beginning of Canada. This is the reason that he has also been seen talking about including Canada in America many times. Amidst all this, the dispute between Canada and America has not been able to resolve the dispute. This is the reason that Trump has increased the imported tariff on Canada from 25% to 35%. In this, especially things related to fendellers have been targeted.
Regarding this, it was said by the White House administration that Canada has failed to cooperate in stopping the increasing demand for Phantanel and other illegal drugs, besides it has retaliated against the US. However, the US government has retained exemption for the products to be traded under the structure of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
