Donald Trump has escalated tensions with Iran, warning that time is running out for Tehran to comply with his demands or face severe consequences.
In a strongly worded message, the US President said only 48 hours remain before decisive action could be taken.
Reiterating his earlier position, Trump referred to the April 6 deadline he had set for Iran-calling on it to either strike a deal with the United States or reopen the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
Taking to his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump delivered a blunt warning, stating that failure to act within the given timeframe would lead to serious repercussions. His remarks come amid heightened tensions in the region, with the Hormuz Strait-one of the world’s most critical oil transit routes-remaining at the center of the standoff.
The sharp rhetoric signals a further escalation in the ongoing conflict, raising concerns over potential geopolitical and economic fallout if the situation deteriorates further.
