25 Percent Tariff from 1 November: US President Donald Trump said on Monday that now 25% tariff will be imposed on heavy trucks coming to the US.
25 Percent Tariff from 1 November: US President Donald Trump has once again taken a big decision. He has announced that 25% tariffs will be imposed on all medium and heavy trucks imported in the US from 1 November 2025. Trump says that this step has been taken to carry forward the US First policy, so that the country’s dependence on foreign companies is reduced and domestic production can be promoted.
Trucks will have 25% tariff
Trump’s decision will affect many large truck companies in Europe and Asia, which export trucks to the US. The prices of these trucks will increase due to imposing 25% import duty, which can make them difficult to compete in the US market. Experts believe that now foreign companies will have to either make their factories in America or have to reduce prices. This can greatly benefit the American truck industry.
