Bihar Domicile Policy 2025: A new dominance policy will be implemented before the assembly elections in Bihar. CM Nitish Kumar informed on X that the Education Department has been instructed to amend the rules. This rule will be applicable from TRE-4 to be held in 2025.

Patna News: The new Domicile policy will be implemented in the state before the Bihar assembly elections. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself gave this information on social media. On Monday, Nitish Kumar made a big announcement about the teacher recruitment examination. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wrote on social media X- Since the formation of the government in November 2005, we are continuously working to improve the education system. A large number of teachers have been appointed to strengthen the education system. The Education Department has been instructed to make necessary amendments in the relevant rules to give priority to the residents (natives) of Bihar in the recruitment of teachers. It will be implemented from TRE-4 itself.

Will be held in TRE-4 and TRE-5

CM Nitish Kumar said-TRE-4 will be held in 2025 and TRE-5 in 2026. Instructions have also been given to organize STET before the TRE-5 organized.

Permanent residents of Bihar in teacher recruitment priority

It is clear from this decision of the Bihar government that now the permanent residents of Bihar will be given priority in the teacher recruitment process. For a long time, the youth were demanding that local candidates be given priority on those who applied from outside. The Education Department will now amend the first rule of TRE-4 so that the original residence-based selection process can be legally effective.

Let us tell you that thousands of students took to the streets of Patna on Friday to demand the implementation of domicy policy in government jobs. The students took out outrage march from Gandhi Maidan in the capital to Dakbangla intersection and raised slogans against the state government. The protesters warned the government that if the domicile policy was not implemented in all government recruitments, then they will adopt the strategy of votes or not in the assembly elections. In view of this major demonstration of the students, strict security arrangements were made in Patna.
