An incident has come to light from Patiala in Punjab, which shocked everyone’s heart. In Rajindara Hospital campus here, a dog newborn child’s head was seen moving in his mouth. Seeing this scene, people were left and worried.
The police was informed after the child was rescued from the dog in the hospital premises.
What is the matter?
The incident took place around 5:30 pm. Near ward number-4 of Rajindra Hospital, people saw that a stray dog was roaming with the head of a newborn. On seeing this, the hospital staff and the people present there came to panic. He immediately informed the hospital administration and the police.
Health Minister ordered an inquiry
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh ordered an inquiry into the incident on Tuesday. The Health Minister has directed the hospital officials as well as the local police to investigate the matter from all possible angles. Officials said the recovered head has been handed over to the forensic team for detailed investigation. The minister assured that the state government is taking the matter very seriously and will ensure accountability after investigation.
What did the Medical Superintendent say?
Medical Superintendent Dr. Vishal Chopra clarified that no newborn baby is missing from the hospital. He said that all the recent infant deaths have been duly registered and the bodies have been handed over to the families with appropriate documents. Dr. Chopra said, “It seems that someone may have thrown his baby’s remains from outside.” The police has been informed about this and the matter is currently under investigation.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Palwinder Singh Cheema said that this shocking incident at Rajindra Hospital is being investigated in depth. (With language inputs)
